Description

Axton Liquid Rubber primer is a non-toxic, water-based single pack pure acrylic binder coating with high solids, small particle size and low viscosity
to bind and prime a variety of substrates prior to the application of the Axton Liquid Rubber primer acrylic topcoat. Axton Liquid Rubber primer can be used directly on prepared cement slabs, porous masonry substrates, porous and friable roof tiles (granular cement and lay tiles) and its unique formulation will offer a high degree of sealing and bonding abilities. This product is designed for application directly onto raw surfaces prior to top coating. It can also be used to bind old-weathered paint prior to top-coating but an adhesion test must be done of the old paint prior to ensure sufficient adhesion of the old chalky paint onto the substrate prior to binding. It can also be used on asbestos sheeting to encapsulate the asbestos as a health precaution
